This was so good! it was much better than I expected it to be. My husband does not like celery, so I used fennel instead. i was trying to use up frozen corn and I accidentally put it in too early, so I ended up blending it at the end and it all turned out great anyway. I would love to try it with fresh corn in the summer. It does make a lot of soup FYI. I will definitely make it again.

We continue coming back to this site bc the flavors are dynamite. Thank you guys so much for good, QUALITY, recipes! This chowder was amazing. Our family said it was some of the best soup we’ve ever tasted. I did overnight soak the cashews bc I’ve learned it just does help to make it even easier to get that creamy perfect texture.

WOW! This was so delicious! After nearing the end of my first day on the Daniel Fast, this was so yummy and satisfying!! I had to keep batting my kids hands off the fresh cut corn. This was my first time using a cashew creamy mix – perfect! Thank you so much!!

Thank you for this recipe it is a hit in my family! Son (4) is DF and loves it, husband (45) definitely not DF, loves it, already planning the next time I’ll be making this. Suggestion for others: since I didn’t have fresh corn on the cob, I used frozen kernel corn, and because I didn’t have cobs to cook I pureed one extra cup of corn and added it to the broth for flavor.

On the Daniel Fast and was looking for a few recipes, came across this soup. So, glad I found it, was truly DELICIOUS! Corn is out of season, so used canned corn, otherwise followed the directions. It was well seasoned, a must for me. My hubby loved so much wants to add to our “go to” dinner menus.
